Who are you guys? How did you get these non-camera parts?
Just like you, we
are used to be a bunch of people who work in places where we can’t use our iPhones.
We were missing out on EVERYTHING – from WhatsApp, to Facebook and the other several millions of apps out there.
One fine day – one of us decided that we had enough of this nonsense, and called up every factory in China we knew that produced iPhone 4 parts. After much negotiations and “coffee”, we were finally able to get our hands on these! (It didn’t come cheap, by the way – just so you know.)
Well, that was 2011. We’ve came a long way and got featured several times in local media, too!
Do you ship internationally?
Yes we do. As a matter of fact, we ship worldwide for free.
For conversion kits, we ship via Registered Mail (with tracking number) which will be delivered via your local postal service.
For ready-to-use sets, we ship via Aramex – it’s the best courier we found that gives really good middle-eastern (UAE: Abu Dhabi, Dubai, etc) and European coverage, where most of our customers are from.
How long will it take to get my package?
We now ship all packages via Aramex courier, it usually takes 3-4 working days.
For all orders, we usually take around 1 working day to process your order.
I am working in a military camp…
…and you need a certificate to show that your phone has its cameras removed?
No problem – we do issue certificates to certify that your iPhone has had both of its cameras removed. The certificate will have your phone’s IMEI number, date of removal, personnel carrying out the removal, and our contact details for verification.
In fact, we even have a system for military camps to carry out automated checking on certificate validity. If you are in-charge of your camp’s security office, please contact us for access to this system – it’s free-of-charge 🙂
Do you guys offer installation for the Conversion Kits?
We no longer offer conversion service – but you can take our conversion kits to any local mobile phone repair shop and they’ll be more than willing to help you convert your existing iPhone!
Are you guys approved for my SAF camp (in Singapore)?
As of 1st March 2016, a revised GOM will be effective which officially allows 3rd party providers such as ourselves to provide conversion services. We will strictly comply to a certain set of rules as directed by Mindef in order for the set to be approved.
Long story, short: Yes, we are now approved!
How can I make payment?
We prefer Credit Card via Stripe or PayPal (which allows you to use Visa, MasterCard, AmEx, JCB, etc) – but we can accept Bank/Wire Transfers, Western Union, MoneyGram, etc too. Feel free to talk to our team if you prefer alternative methods.
Don’t worry, your payment details are secure – we CANNOT get to see any of your sensitive details as the payment processing is handled by PayPal.
Is buying online with you guys safe?
That’s a very valid question, to be honest.
Well, for starters, we’ve been here since 2011, and we’re a registered Business in Singapore (Registration Number: 201700010C) under the name Technical Engineering Pte. Ltd. We have a real office here in Singapore, and we’re staffed by real people.

What is your Refund Policy?
We aim for 100% customer satisfaction for ALL our customers.
If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase or incorrectly chosen an option during checkout – and we’ve yet to ship the item out – just drop us an e-mail at [email protected] or the Contact Us page and we’ll issue you a refund immediately.
After you’ve gotten your order, we can’t take returns. However, if the product arrived damaged or defective due to our error (i,e, insufficient bubble wrap while packing, or something) – we’ll gladly do an exchange for you for a new piece/set with shipping expenses borne by us. You can return any defective conversion kit purchase for up to 120 days from the purchase date.
For ready-to-use sets, we’ll do an instant 1-to-1 exchange for purchases up to 14 days – thereafter which it will be subjected to our in-house warranty terms of 1 year (365 days). Returned or exchanged products must be in the condition you received them and in the original box and/or packaging.
How can I cancel or change my order?
Please, please, please – inform us as soon as possible if you need your order changed. This will save (both of) us a lot of trouble 🙂
